TREASURE ISLAND MUSEUM

Special note from John CW Carroll, President of the Board of Directors( 3 Feb. 2005 ):

The Treasure Island Museum was closed in 1997, but the collection remains in storage on Treasure Island, still formally under the care
of the US Navy. Negotiations between the City of San Francisco and the Navy are yet not concluded, so the ultimate disposition of the
collection is uncertain. It is the Association's hope to see the Museum restored and reopened on the Island at some time. Until then,
please direct any inquiries to the Treasure Island Development Authority (The Mayor's Office on Treasure Island): email
TIDA@sfgov.org, or to the Naval Historical Center in Washington DC.

All best,

John CW Carroll
President of the Board of Directors
Treasure Island Museum Association
