Established in August of 1971 by local ship model craftsmen Bob Wright and Russ Merrill; the San Diego Ship Modelers Guild originally met aboard the bark STAR OF INDIA. In 2021 we celebrate our 50th year as a Guild. Who We AreWe're scale model shipcrafters... we range in age from under 18 to over 90... we're from all walks of life... we have Members with decades of expertise and those just starting their first build...
